Position Description

The successful applicant will be required to furfil the role of Specialist undertaking the Forensic Assessment of Delay and Disruption on related commissions. The tasks will be varied, and may include prospective and retrospective Delay analysis, the preparation of expert reports, claim narratives and production / productivity Disruption analysis.

Regional travel is likely, possibly requiring the successful applicant to work from our regional offices or our clients’ premises at times. This presents a rare opportunity for post-graduates to gain valuable career experience in a coveted industry where you will be able to develop specialist experience and further your career development.

This position also offers a great opportunity for a construction professional who is seeking on the job mentoring from senior experts to assist in developing their skills, experience and career growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provision of Specialist Expert Advice
  • Schedule and Programme analysis
  • Production and Productivity Analysis
  • Forensic Assessment of Delay and Disruption
  • Preparation of Expert Reports and Claim Naratives
  • Preparation and Presentation of Findings
Desired Experience
  • Strong Forensic Planning and Delay Analysis Experience
  • Demonstrable Experience on Major Projects
  • Good Continuity of Employment is Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in Expert Witness sector is essential
  • Has previously managed a Team of Analysts
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in in their relevant field.
  • Open-minded and flexible, with the ability to handle and progress multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to changing requirements and circumstances.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and diligence; possessing a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with initiative and an enthusiastic and energetic approach are essential.

The successful applicant will be required to assist senior specialists in undertaking the supporting tasks on delay and disruption related commissions.  The tasks will be varied, and may include supervised prospective and retrospective analysis further to the compilation of supporting documentation along with the preparation of reports and narratives.

  • Supporting senior personnel in the servicing of engagements.
  • Assimilating pertinent technical information and data, including sourcing, research, processing and analysis.
  • Presentation of information and data analysis findings.
  • Drafting of narratives, preparation and presentation of data and graphics for inclusion in technical and expert reports.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in in their relevant field.
  • Enthusiastic with a keen desire to develop key skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Open-minded and flexible, with the ability to handle and progress multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to changing requirements and circumstances.
